These Festivals were dress rehearsals of events that would find their ultimate fulfillment in Jesus, our Savior. In this class we will delve into these festivals with an emphasis on how their fulfillment is found in Jesus. All are welcomed.

LADIES' BIBLE STUDY

Ladies, join us for a Beth Moore Bible study, Breaking Free9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Breaking Free looks at the Book of Isaiah through the lives of the kings who ruled during the prophet's ministry. These kings exemplify many of the obstacles to freedom with which we must deal. Using Scripture to help identify spiritual strongholds in your life, no matter how big or small, Beth explains that anything that hinders us from the benefits of knowing God is bondage. Join in this powerful study of God's like changing Word.

BIBLE STUDY - In the Beginning

Wednesdays, beginning September 12, for 13 weeks for In the Beginning: Genesis 1-11. Genesis 1-11 contains some of the most controversial material in the Bible. The stories of creation and fall sets non-Christians against the church, and stresses out the youth of the church who are trying to navigate these stories in light of modern theories of human origin. Even so, the foundations of the Christian faith are laid in these traditions, making a proper understanding of them essential for a proper understanding of life and faith themselves.

In this course, we will give a voice to a variety of approaches to Creation issues, assessing each according to its presuppositions, methods, and ramifications, while clinging most tenaciously to an understanding of these stories in their historical, grammatical, and literary context. It will be fun, but challenging, informative, relevant, and explorative, but rooted in solid Biblical Theology.  For questions, contact Dr. Andrew Sargent at andrewdsargent@gmail.com.

FIRST STEPS

FIRST STEPS will help you begin your journey by helping you get oriented with the trip itself. We all need a GPS from time to time and the walk with the Lord is no different.

Come join Pastor Jim Wallace, for a lively and interactive discussion-style class, for both the young and old believer alike.

Every Wednesday evening at 7:00PM in the DVJ Building (room 201).
